Emergency First Aid at Work

Our 6 hour training includes both theory and practical modules and has a relaxed atmosphere that is designed to stimulate confidence.

The Emergency First Aid at Work syllabus includes:

• First Aid Priorities
• Treatment of an Unconscious Casualty
• Casualty Examination
• Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations
• Burns and Scalds
• Basic Life Support
• First Aid Kits
• Bleeding Control
• Prioritising and Managing Incidents
• Reporting and Recording

Gaining a certificate depends on continuous and successful assessment of the student as there isn't a final assessment. Those delegates who complete the course to the required level are issued with a certificate that is valid for three years.

This course can be run over 1 day or two 3-hour sessions in the evening.
